Gumtree Subdivision Enabling Works

HES Earthmoving was subcontracted to Downer to complete the preparatory civils and bulk earthworks for this subdivision project.

The scope of works included stripping topsoil, extensive undercutting of unsuitable material (2-3m in depth due to large tree stumps and roots), importing fill metal, building the platform, with compaction testing as a hold point for each lift, and retopsoiling, as well as digging of the road channels.
